Guiding Light was launching a residential recovery program for women, Kendra’s House. But it needed a place where clients could go during the day to day to attend class, meet with life coaches, therapists and spiritual directors.
As house manager at Guiding Light’s new recovery program for women, Kendra’s House, Heather is helping other women discover that same accountability.
“I wasn’t spiritual at all before coming here. I grew up with no religion in my life. When I was a teenager, I was very against God and the idea of God. But believing in something that’s bigger than yourself gets rid of believing you’re in control of everything around you when you’re not.”
