Guiding LightKeeper Grand Rapids Rehab

Deep change from
small change!

For $10/month, you will transform someone’s life this year.

You help men and women with the basics: food, water, clothes so that they can do the hard work of completely changing their lives. You help offer programming, support, and relationships as men and women start living life in a new way: sober, free, connected to God, restored to family, hard at work, and active in service.

Light the way to new life by joining others like yourself in providing critical, life transforming services today.

As a LightKeeper, you'll invest in women like Michaela:

“I was completely broken inside and out when I got here almost eight months ago. The women’s recovery program opened up just in time to save my life.

“Thank you for being a safe place to learn who I am, forgive myself, and discover self-worth. The staff and women here loved me until I could love myself.

“Today, I have a safe place I can call home. My heart is so full of gratitude, my future is bright, thanks to all of you and Guiding Light.”

You'll invest in men like Delano:

“I saw guys going through their four-month program, getting jobs, getting keys to their own apartments. I said, ‘That’s what I want.’” And that’s what he did because of supporters like you.

This is a photo of Delano celebrating his first year of abstinence-based sobriety. He has a good job, invests in his community, and regularly expresses his gratitude for this new life.

“I can tell you that I’m not the same person that I was 12 months ago. I don’t forget my past, but I don’t let it define me for what I want to do for my future, either.”

Food, Shelter, Recovery

When you're hungry, exposed, and alone, it's hard to make changes, let alone survive. You provide nutritious meals, hot showers, safe space, clean clothes for men and women to start the process of transformation.

Workforce Development & Permanent Housing

Get men and women clean from drugs and alcohol, get them connected to God, back to work, restored to family, and safely housed. We focus on full-time sustainable employment and dignified long-term housing.

Renewed, Sober Citizens

Give children their parents back, families their son and daughters back. Tax payers, church goers, vehicle owners, reliable employees: our men and women are back to life because of you.

LightKeepers are the backbone of Guiding Light

Other than their willingness to change, there is NO COST to the men and women in our programs. No insurance money, no government money: this is because we want to stay innovative, rooted in God, and long-term.

Our success rate for those who follow our process is double and triple what you can expect from attending other types of programs. Because of the community members like yourself, we are able to hold our men and women to a high standard. We are able to walk alongside them for years, not the 14-30 days insurance would pay for.

This relationship-based, long-term programming is where our success comes from, and we hold tight to that. It is because of individuals like you that we can continue to move men and women from death to new life.

LightKeeper Community Perks!
