What Alli does at Guiding Light:
I build relationships with community members while sharing the success stories of the men and women at Guiding Light made possible through their generous donations.
Favorite part of the job:
Actually seeing the difference in the men and women helped through our services is so rewarding. Knowing that the impact made here not only helps the client, but generations to come is pretty dang cool!
Freetime fun:
In the summer I like to be outside. Whether I am gardening, going for a walk or sitting by a pool, I am happiest when I am in the sunshine enjoying all the beauty of the outdoors. In the colder months, I like to snowboard or build snowmen with my little family.
Moments Alli enjoys most at Guiding Light
Lunchtime is a great time to chat with the guys and learn a little bit more about them and their journey. I love the discussion questions too because they lead to some interesting conversations.
Favorite place to eat:
There were some delicious huts on the beach in Caye Caulker, Belize that had the best spiny lobster. I’d love to eat there again! But here in GR? I like FnK Tacos in Rockford.
