One Year Sobriety Celebrations
Our One Year Sobriety Celebration is just that: Celebrating a group of men and women who have reached their first year of abstinence-based sobriety.
Please join us for this exclusive programming event where you’ll laugh, cry, and enjoy cake – all in under an hour! Here’s a short video of what to expect.
Breakfast Open House
Curious about who Guiding Light is? Join us for light faire and deep conversation on a Wednesday morning. These are small and fun morning gatherings that happen quarterly.

2027 will be our 3rd annual fundraiser concert! In the gorgeous St. Cecelia Music Center, we host acoustic all-stars for your listening pleasure. Because we find a generous sponsor, all ticket – and silent auction! – proceeds go directly to support our recovery programs. It’s a fun night you don’t want to miss.
Iron House BBQs
Did you know that Guiding Light owns and operates 10 properties? 5 of them include fourplexes in Kentwood, called Iron House where our men’s program graduates live, work, pay rent, and build a sustainable new life. Our men living here host the community for BBQs over the summer. Come enjoy a hotdog and great company! All are welcome.
