I’m the third shift security guard. I make sure the building is secure at night, that the men are up by 6am, and that the prospective participants in the intake area are comfortable.

Seeing the new people just coming in the program feeling helpless to seeing them head out the door to work with hope and a new outlook on life.

I like to be out in nature. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking.

When we do the holiday meals and I see the participants in the program light up with joy knowing they themselves are making a difference and impact in the community.
